Well, it took forever, but here it is: the video of Zac eating food for the first (and apparently, only) time.
Breaks my heart. He was so happy to finally get to eat.
I hate FPIES.

Awww Jed was so absolutely precious at the beginning!. Poor Zac and you guys too that’s just so unfair!
Jed is pretty cute! He was very excited to see his brother eating. 🙂 We were devastated, but read my next post – there’s hope yet!
I’m so sorry that his first food resulted in an FPIES reaction. My heart breaks with yours. I can’t remember how I stumbled on your blog a month or so ago, but our lives are parallel in many ways. My second son, now 18 months old, also has FPIES. I too, experience anxiety with every food trial. It has been the hardest experience to live through. I wish I could give you a big hug. I know what you are going through. Hang in there, you are a strong mom and we are both going to get through this with our kiddos!
Hi Colleen! Welcome and so glad you found me! I’m sorry your son also has FPIES, and you’re right, food trials are a different kind of hard experience than anything I’ve ever experienced before.
I’m so grateful for the support we received yesterday…but don’t be a stranger – we think we might have “called it” on quinoa a tad too soon!
And Colleen? FPIES Mama’s are the strongest women I’ve ever met in my life – we will ALL get through this with our kiddos! Wish I could hug you right back!
