Refried beans made with an unconventional bean for the fructose-sensitive.

Ingredients
  • 1 can Fava Beans
  • 1 tsp. cumin
  • ½ tsp. paprika
  • ¼ tsp. chili powder
  • ¼ tsp. salt
  • ⅛ tsp. black pepper
  • 2 c. water
Instructions
  1. Rinse and drain the beans.
  2. Add the beans and water to a saucepan.
  3. Add the seasonings, and simmer for half an hour.
  4. Get out an immersion blender or potato masher and mash those beans up as much as you like.
  5. Enjoy your non-pinto refried beans!
